You may have heard or seen pictures of people using microblading as a way to re-shape or re-grow eyebrows they once had. SWMH Member Kate Shaughnessy, is the Owner of Lash & Brow Design Co. She’ll share what microblading is, and other services they offer such as lash extentions. She’s also very involved by donating some of her procedures to benefit burn survivors by giving them back the confidence they both need and deserve. Kate is the first Certified Xtreme Lash stylist in the Midwest. After becoming certified in microblading, Kate was quickly recognized for her talent and was recruited as a national trainer for Brow Design International teaching artists from around the country. Women from all over the U.S. travel to Indiana for her services and often come to her for corrective services.
She graduated from Honors Beauty College in 2004. She’s been a free-lance makeup artist for several major brands while also working at several big salons and day spas in the greater Indianapolis area. In 2008, Kate opened her own lash studio, RogueLash by Kate. It wasn’t long before Kate was recruited by Xtreme Lashes to become a corporate trainer. Still committed to being on the forefront of the beauty industry, Kate became certified through Brow Design International for Microblading. She also holds a certification from Europe in Microblading.
Renaming her business to Lash & Brow Design Co to better identify with her clientele, Kate now leads a team of women working to beautify Indianapolis. Her clientele comes from around the nation with people flying in to experience the very best in the industry.
